# Tamcoder 0.1.24

The model router now answers a route that keeps narrating instead of acting.

- Route escalation: when a route ignores `tool_choice: required` a second time while its
  cool-down is running, selection stops free-first weighting for the remainder of that
  cool-down and picks the strongest eligible route directly (largest context window, then
  output cap) — capability instead of price, within the plan's tier gate.
- The preference relaxes by itself: the moment the route is out of cooling and a turn serves
  cleanly, ordinary weighted selection returns. A confirmed narration pattern keeps costing
  the lane its turn, not the user's patience.
- The tier gate is untouched: escalation narrows within what the plan may already use; a free
  account still never reaches a paying route, and `heavy` capacity stays excluded for free.
- Everything from 0.1.23 is unchanged: silent continuation across engine surrenders, the
  engine-level verification gate, the agent monitor under the footer, and the multi-agent
  spawn reminder.
