# Tamcoder 0.1.16

Tamcoder now stays with a task and does not hand work back half-done, and it adds the last big parity pieces.

- Fixed: `tamcoder exec` hung forever when a caller held stdin open, and refused to start without exported variables. It now starts from your saved login.
- Fixed: turning the mouse wheel no longer fills the composer with history; the next-message suggestion no longer starves the turn you start after approving a plan (`BUDGET_EXCEEDED`).
- Fixed: agent task names like "Read a.txt" are accepted; plain file requests no longer also create an artifact copy.
- New: `run_code`, an isolated JavaScript program that calls Tamcoder's tools in a loop (sandboxed child process, no network, quotas).
- New: recurring tasks with `/loop`, `/schedule` and `tamcoder schedule` (`install` sets up cron for you).
- New: task ownership and `TaskClaim` for parallel agents; `plugin search` and `plugin update`; hosted plugin catalogue (`pluginCatalog.url`).
- Better Office and PDF handling: DOCX writing, formulas and number formats in XLSX, speaker notes in PPTX, clear errors for protected or corrupt files.

Requires Node.js 22 or newer; Linux x86_64 package.
