Tamcoder

Tamcoder is the TypeScript coding-agent runtime for TamfisGPT. The current release contains no Rust or Go executable.

Install or update (Linux x86_64)

The installer verifies the release checksum and installs into your user account. Node.js 22 or newer is required.

Tamcoder checks the public release version in the background at startup. Use /update in the TUI or tamcoder update in a shell for install instructions. Checks send no workspace, session, or account data and can be disabled with TAMCODER_UPDATE_CHECK=0.

The terminal client opens a full-screen workspace with session title, project path, model and run status, live assistant output, tool activity, slash commands, approvals, and session resume. It works in the project directory when that directory is accessible to Tamcoder's isolated service account.
